NPPB Governance
Newbury Park PONY Baseball is governed by a set of four documents that define the league and the rules by which it operates. Copies of the current versions of those documents are available here for anyone's perusal.
Do note that these documents are updated from time to time, so check back here for the most current versions.
Documentation filed with California State to define NPPB as a corporation, as well as its primary purposes and non-profit nature. (Filed August 19, 1970.)
Amendments to the Articles of Incorporation
- Amendment to change the corporation name from "Newbury Park Little League" to "Newbury Park Pony Baseball League". (Filed February 8, 1979.)
By-Laws
The rules under which our Board of Directors meet, vote, are elected, and generally operate. The specific offices of the Board are defined herein, as well. (Revised Jan 2010.)
League Rules
The rules under which the League in general (including players, managers, coaches, umpires, parents, fans, etc.) is expected to operate, including player eligibility, code of conduct, etc. (Revised January 14, 2008.)
Policies and Procedures
Various other procedures for the evaluation and draft of players, scheduling of games, selection and responsibilities of managers and coaches, tournament "play-offs", all-stars, etc.
